A little about me!
Thank you so much for dropping by! My name is Hannah and I am the owner of Plan Events & Design. I live in Central IL with my wonderful husband Nick, our VERY active toddler Axel and our 2 dogs, Nora and Pippa. Planning weddings and events are my passion. I feel the start of a marriage should be joyous and stress-free! I love the relationships I build with my clients and knowing that I am helping them take their first steps into marriage. I started my business because I had a drive for planning, design, and helping others build their dream events. Plan averages 10-12 weddings a year to keep our events personal. Because, a wedding isn’t just a party, it’s the start of a marriage.
Plan Events & Design
I have loved weddings and events for as long as I can remember. I had multiple subscriptions to wedding magazines from around age 7. I poured over pictures of centerpieces and cakes and always read the featured couples story. In High School a local florist ask my art teacher for students to help out with the governors ball. I was hooked! I loved the creative aspect of it and how it all fit together like a puzzle. From there, I knew one day I wanted to open up my own planning and design company. Through college I interned all over creation, St. Louis, Chicago, Charleston, just gaining experience and knowledge about the wedding planning industry. After graduation, I took a position as an onsite wedding planning at a farm in Clarksville, Mo. After about a year I was ready to move on and the nagging thought to start my own business wouldn't leave, so I jumped with both feet and start Plan. We have worked up to about 12 full service weddings a year and I absolutely love it. I love helping couples make those first decisions as a new family and for them to see all the love and work we put into their wedding when they walk through those doors. Each day is different and rewarding in it's own right and I'm really proud of the company I have built.
